BEWARE OF SCAMMERS CLAIMING TO BE US
I wanted to let everyone know that some folks in Louisiana are attempting to use our “Weeniemama”, & Weeniemama.com name to sell puppies. In some cases they are even using pics of our dogs/puppies.
One potential customer contacted an animal vet/clinic in Louisiana which was given as WeenieMama’s official Vet/clinic. The lady that works there googled our website and called ME for more info. Due to this lady’s due diligence, the potential buyer did not send the deposit. Instead, the lady at the clinic called her and gave her my phone number and she called me. Unfortunately, we did not have a puppy available in the color she was looking for.
Another potential customer contacted the AKC and lucky for them, the AKC was able to determine that it was a scam. ALL of our dogs/puppies are registered to US with Tammy ‘s name AND WeenieMama.
Bottom line, my phone number (Joe at (386) 215-4843) is THE ONLY valid phone number associated with our website. Any other number given, is a SCAM!
Welcome to Weenie Mama
“We Breed Happiness”
First & foremost WeenieMama is NOT a puppy mill! We breed MINI Dachshunds. Our pups all live in our home, not in a barn or cages. Our Weenies are all fully registered with the AKC.
How do our pups live? Better than we do! Ha! Our pups ONLY eat the best type and brand of premium dog food recommended by our vet. They also eat appropriate and recommend amount of food. Our pups NEVER consume ANY human food or snacks. The only snacks our pups consume are all natural. Our goal is to keep our pups healthy, trim and fit which makes our pups’ vet happy.
When do we breed? Great question. Only when our girls are ready and fully recovered and given ample time in-between litters.
Our mission. Very simple. To be the premier MINI Dachshund source in the South East. We want to breed quality pups that will offer their owners a long and healthy life. We want our clients to be proud of their weenies!
My experience from start to finish with Joe and Tammy was amazing. I originally messaged Joe with questions about the puppies, and he provided informative and timely responses. I especially appreciated receiving many photos of the growing puppies. I had a puppy picked out, but I wanted to meet her first to make sure it felt right—and it did! That day, I brought home my best friend, Addy.
Addy is a wonderful dog with a great temperament. While she’s a little shy, she just wants to be friends with everyone and everything. She’s been amazing with both big and small humans, as well as other dogs.
I love that I’ve been able to share a bit of Addy’s life with Joe and Tammy through photos since I got her. I would easily recommend anyone looking for a mini dachshund to go through Weenie Mama. Their puppies come from such a caring breeder and home.
We picked out Sadie and had a courier bring her to us and she has been the greatest addition to our family! She is so kind and loving and is great with kids. She is so adorable and LOVES meeting people and dogs. I’ve gotten many compliments on how good and well behaved she is for being a puppy and on her absolutely adorable coloring.
Tammy was very helpful and informative during the journey/process of getting Sadie. She was always available to answer the many questions I had. We have kept in contact through this first year and that shows how much she cares about the dogs and that they are going to a good home. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a dachshund.
Meet the Weenies

Gretchen
This girl is an absolute sweetheart. She is a petite Mini weighing only 9lbs. She has a VERY mild and very loving personality. She loves her belly rubs and being held. Gretchen is a long hair, red Brindle.

Hank
Hank is a Piebald with ticking. (This is how his coloring is described). Hank will turn two years old Dec 11th 2024. He is a fully registered, male, miniature Dachshund. He comes from a very healthy bloodline. Hank is the father of Miranda’s first litter of pups.

Miranda
Our youngest female, she sure is a little busy body. She is a very curious and playful pup. She is the life of the party so to speak. She likes to show off and be entertaining.
Well, now you have met the Weenies and hopefully have a feel for what we do. We understand that some folks prefer rescue pups and that is a wonderful thing. Here at WeenieMama we also have four rescues. Two older dogs, a German Shepard named Cash (Johnny) and an older Chiweenie named Charley (Pride). Have you noticed a traditional country music theme with all of our pups? In addition, we have two older house cats. Colby and Luna. Luna is the oldest of all of our animals here at WeenieMama and she has full seniority.
Another benefit to purchasing Mini Dachshund pups from WeenieMama is the fact that our pups co-mingle with other dogs and cats as well! We also have adult children of our own and in addition, grandchildren all of whom interact with all of our pups. This means your potential pup has already been exposed to other dogs, cats, adults and children. This helps your pup starting out in life being social and friendly.

The only female already has a furever home! This little girl is going to be SO loved in a wonderful home! The 3 male pups, are available. We had homes for more females but there was only one this litter.
Tammy, weeniemama.com, believes one of the male MAY be a merle, this is a bluish/gray color. This color is one of, if not THE most sought after color due to it’s rarity. Our male, Hank (the father of all of iur litters) his dad was an AKC show winning blue merle. In the event we have a blue merle, someone will get a very high quality show dog.
Also, all our litters thus far have produced “top tier” quality mini Dachshunds as per multiple veterinarians. Two of our own, Spring Oaks in DeLand, and also Crescent City Animal Clinic. In addition, we have had multuple reports from previous customers stating that their owns vets have committed on the quality of our pups. We are quite proud as this takes a lot of time and dedication to breed and raise quality pups.
Our pups are handled early on and consistently, exposed to other dogs (at the appropriate age). Also, Tammy begins potty training at 7 weeks old and it has panned out VERY well for our customers.
Bottom line, we are very proud of our AKC registered puppies and we have maintained regular communication with ALL furever home/customers. Many of them have become friends and I would like to think this speaks for itself.

As always, all of our pups are AKC registered, will come will all vet records, all vaccinations and most importantly a State of Florida Health Certificate!
We follow ALL AKC rules, regulations, vet recommendations 100%. Our commitment to our pups is rock solid and we cut NO corners. ALL of our dogs, pure breds and mixed are all fed Purina Pro Plan. In addition, Tammy does make our dogs boiled chicken breast, rice and vegetables combo as a supplement/treat.
Aside from the chicken/rice/vegetables, none of our dogs get table scraps or human food. No chips, no ice-cream etc. We feel this plays a huge role in the health and longevity of our fur family. We receive compliments every vet visit as we are told that the overwhelming majority of pets they see are very much overweight and unhealthy.
